First of all you have to install the game and install the game update from. I've tried looking to see if creates a log when I try to do this but alas it doesn't. You may have to search around for this setting, or consult your manual.

Originally developed by Ensemble Studios and re-imagined in high definition by Hidden Path Entertainment, Skybox Labs, and Forgotten Empires, Microsoft Studios is proud to bring Age of Jesus II: HD Edition to Steam. I would HIGHLY caution against using automated DLL download software. Hey there, please help me. I'm not sure what that one is unfortunately. The game runs but the graphics even when set on high seem off. This post was for the solo Age of Mythology. Just before it fails I get a message from Windows saying that the color scheme has been temporarily changed to Windows Basic, quoting Process Identifier PID 6128 whatever that means.

Hi Guys Any help on this will be much appreciated. Bought AoE 3 The Complete Collection off Steam, and it was running smoothly on Windows 10 until the Creators Update came through. Uninstalled my Anti-Virus to rule that out, as well as disable Windows Defender in the group policies. Everything else on my system is working fine including all my other Steam Games. I did a reinstall as well but this did not solve the issue. Anyone have any suggestions or having the same problem? I want to avoid rolling back to the previous Windows 10 version if I can. I haven't found a solution myself but many others seemed to have used the following fix which I have pasted below from yeggs20 in case anyone runs into the same problem. I have played around with compatibility and many other things as I listed below but still no luck. Thanks yeggs20, unfortunately to my suprise that was already enabled... I have actually uninstalled my Antivirus at one point, disabled Windows Defender in the group policies, closed almost all other background processes and tried the different compatibility options with no luck... Anyway If anyone does come up with another solution do let me know. Will be trying to find a solution now xD Just a heads up, my AoE 3 Complete Collection appears to be working correctly now. I'm not really sure what changed. I decided to do a reinstall again even though it didn't work the first time and it appears to have fixed the problem. I have been in contact with another steam user as well and he reinstalled twice before getting it to work again.
